What We Were Meant to Be

Like animals in cages, longing to be free,
Like fishes in a fish bowl, meant to swim the seas,
This awesome world God made for us
Was cursed because of sin,
But one day our Lord will make it new again.

No more sorrow, no more pain,
No more dying, sin, and shame—
The Lord will make all things new again,
No more earthquakes, no more storms.
No more famine, no more wars—
What God made will be set free,
And we all will be what we were meant to be.

All who call upon the Lord will be saved,
He’ll set us free, free, free, free, free.

Seven C’s of History

I have committed to my memory,
Important events from the Scriptures I read.
With music we learn a song is the key
To learn the Seven C’s of history.

Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe
Confusion, Christ and the Cross
Consummation, it is the final C
Of the Seven C’s of History.

There’s no rhyme or reason we can’t comprehend
All history from beginning to the end.
It’ll be an adventure, I know you’ll agree,
To learn the Seven C’s of History.

The Bible’s the history book of the universe.
I’ll stand on each promise, believe every verse.
We’ve cleared the ground, let’s scatter the seed,
Our faith is built on real history.

Rainbows Remind Me

The Ark has landed on the mountains of Ararat.
Noah didn’t want to leave the Ark.
He heard the thunder crack.
It’s danger, danger, danger, God said, “Get out that door.
I promise with this rainbow that I’ll flood the earth no more.”

Rainbows remind me of the worldwide Flood.
Rainbows remind me when the world was judged.
A multicolored spectrum-painted promise from above.
Rainbows remind me of the world wide Flood.

Now Noah and his family set the animals free.
They multiplied throughout the earth,
But what does Noah see?
Another storm is brewing. Noah’s heart is filled with fear.
Then Noah sees a rainbow and he grins from ear to ear.

Now there’s been countless floods since Noah’s time,
But none could match that global flood.
And a rainbow is the sign,
The rainbow should remind us
God is faithful, He is fair.
And so to jog our memory,
Look, a rainbow’s in the air.

Right Side Up Turned Upside Down

It all began in a paradise.
In a perfect garden was the Tree of Life.
A special rule they could not break,
Just one fruit they must not taste.

Right side up turned upside down.
When man sinned God cursed the ground.
Right side up turned upside down.
Man chose sin, God cursed the ground.

It all began with a big fat lie,
“If you eat the fruit, you will not die.”
They thought one taste would make them wise
But lost their home in paradise.

Sin brought sorrow, death, and shame.
God’s perfect earth was not the same—
Thorns and thistles, storm clouds blew.
Earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, too.

I’ve Got DNA

I’ve got DNA;
I’m fearfully and wonderfully made.
I’ve got DNA;
I’m fearfully and wonderfully made.

Some people say we’re accidents,
That we just came to be, Mutation, chance, and lots of time—
We’re children of the sea.

God’s Word says I’m created
And there’s evidence, you see,
His blueprint’s found in every cell;
There’s DNA in me.

Genetic code would fill a thousand books
For every cell in me.
So do the math, use your head,
It’s the evidence you need.

In Christ, the Cross

Before the earth’s foundation was ever laid in place,
God had a perfect plan for me, to save me by His grace.
His only Son would come for me, to die, and take my shame;
In Christ, the cross, My Savior came, in Jesus I am saved.

In Christ, the cross, I am free.
In Christ, the cross, now I see.
My sins forgiven,
My soul set free,
In Christ, the cross, I am redeemed.
In Christ, the cross, I am redeemed.

No greater love could one man give
To give His life that I might live.
The Lamb of God was sacrificed,
Through Jesus’ blood I have eternal life.

God Made Me, God Made You

There’s some people spreading rumors—
Man just sprang up from the sea.
They say there is no God above,
So who made you and me?
Believe that and I’ll tell you more—
How my song came to be—
My guitar it exploded
And out came this melody.

Well, I don’t converse with llamas
Or understand cows that moo,
And I don’t speak crocodile
Or cock-a-doodle-do.
No, my cousins are not monkeys;
They’ve never lived in a zoo.
But my God made this universe,
He made me, He made you, too!

It goes against my logic and against my reason, too,
To say there’s no designer, so who made me and you?
No, I’m made in the image of this awesome God of love.
My life has got a purpose and it comes from God above.

Babel Rabble

In the plain of Shinar a tower was built
To give glory to the greatness of man.
In their pride and rebellion they rejected Jehovah,
And that’s when the chaos began.

Chorus
Babel Rabble Borsippa Nabu,
Babel Rabble Zigguratu—
Frightened they scattered—what else could they do?
Babel Rabble Borsippa Nabu,
No sprechen Sie English, no parlez vous,
Babel Rabble Zigguratu—
Babel Rabble Zigguratu.

They wanted their tower to reach up to heaven.
They used fired bricks and black oily goo (tar that is)
But God was displeased so He sent down confusion,
And that’s when the rabble, the Babel began.

(Spoken) Now we all just Babel rabble, and we all just babel-on.
We all say things so differently, we have from that day on.
Ola, adieu and adios, shalom, yia sou, buon giorno,
Guten Tag, hello, konichiwa.

It’s all from the tower of Babel, Babel.
It’s all from the tower of Babel, Babel.
